The A&P Resource Hub focuses on increasing student learning.
These resources focus on student ownership of their learning. (Which means way less work for you!)
My goal is to provide resources that are heavily student-centered, providing lots of opportunities for students to explore, make sense of, and retain what they learn.
This means I focus LESS on teacher explanations and focus MORE on students digging in & doing the work.
Each content area does have some direct instruction. I use things like slides, graphic notes, and anchor charts to help. I try to limit it to no more than 15 minutes at a time.
I structure my own lessons with lots of student interaction with the content because I knew the content before I walked in the room. If I am the one doing all the work with a lecture style classroom, they are not actively learning. These resources reflect that philosophy. Lots of task cards, case studies, and more.
